These flags are made from 2-ply polyester, the strongest flag material available. Since polyester flags are extremely durable, they are recommended for areas in the United States with frequent rainfall and high winds. 

If you live in a milder part of the United States, American Flag LLC recommends flying a Nylon American Flag.
